hey Guys,

Its yet another milestone in our work as volunteers. I would like to ask youths, especially the young people working through the thick and thin of issues in creating a positive change in the lives of their communities of HOW DO THE SEE THE ISSUE OF VOLUNTEERING AND WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIGNIFICANCE OF CHANGE?

I congratulate everyone for a job well done in making sure there is a chnage in the lives of their fellow men. Lets keep up the job amidst our challenges.

Hi everyone,

Am new to the blog as i now things will actually happen positively with the kind of collaboration we will be making.

Am a Sierra Leonean, studying Political Science (Hons. class), as i aim to contribute my views about my post-conflict community. I mean, what has been the lives of ex-child soldiers, child miners and youths after the war. How this has affected their lives,and the postive impact they are making tobecome prdouctive citizens in a society where they are been discriminated in schools and playgrounds communities.

HELP TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Am a Sierra Leonean Youth Leader who has been invited by the World Youth Congress, to attend the event in Quebec, Canada from the 10th - 21st August 2008 with a scholarship status.

What, i need is my airfare to Ghana for the Canadian visa before the the first week in August, due to the schedule.I have raised 200$, but the flight cost 580$, to make a trip with kenya airways. As, i hope to make a presentation at the ceremony with regards to child solodiers in post-conflict Sierra Leone who have been transformed into child miners. This is project am implementing in Kono District - famed for 'blood diamonds' in relation to the BLOOD DIAMONDS movie to showcase the factors that fuel the civil war.

I would be grateful, if any one can help to fund raise or donate whatever he/she can to make a difference in the life of a volunteer, youth leader in a post-conflict nation.

iEARN SIERRA LEONE LAUNCHES IT 2ND MUSICAL ALBUM - 'NEXT NEXT GENERATION'

iEARN Positive Music project launching is getting closer. That is on the 24th November this year.
TIG members in Sierra Leone and in the diaspora, i hope you will patronise with us in having a successful album musical concert @ the Old Skool night Club.

Entrance is Le 20,000 per person, whilst patron is by donation.

Come and don't be left out to get the didactic message of these talented artist using music to discuss issues of global concern that affects people's lives.

So, don't be late or to be told, as 'music is the food for the soul especially when you can get the lyrics in the didactic form.

Hey Guys,

The International Education and Resource Netwrok - iEARN for short launches its second positive music project album - 'NEXT NEXT GENERATION' in Freetown.

The youths at iEARN composed songs that deals with positive issues thats affects the young people, youths and even commuity leaders.

This wonderful and fantastic musical explosion will take place on the 24th November this year(2007) at the Family Kingdom Resort and also at Old Skool (VIP).

Its going to be wonderful and celebrating as you may see old and make new friends.

Every youth, students and community leaders are invited.

'Cos it gonna be wonderful, for the Next Generation'.
